Meet our Team

Andy Crumpton joined the Hewett Academy in Sept 2019. He qualified as a teacher following a career in the IT industry working in the UK, Europe and US. Holding Engineering (B.Eng.) and Science (M.Sc.) degrees, it is natural that he has a passion for STEM which led to his becoming a maths teacher.

Since joining Hewett Academy, he has also qualified as a Computer Science teacher and has taught both Mathematics and Computer Science at the school. He has also successfully completed the National Professional Qualification for Leading Behaviour and Culture (NPQLBC).

Andy was appointed SENDCo in September 2022.
